This photo reveals that when Gus Hutchison installed the stroker twin cam engine, he modified the aluminum water pipe, with a reducer so that the radiator connection was a straight piece of rubber hose, not a reducer coupling. This modified thin-walled aluminum pipe was somewhat corroded, however, and was replaced with a more correct part during the restoration process.

This also shows the brake servo body with a light brown rust on it, otherwise unfinished (i.e., not painted).
