"Alan Moffat's semi factory entry being worked on in the pits at the 1965 Marlboro 12 hour Sedan race at Marlboro Raceway in Marlboro, Maryland. I think he is shirt-less in picture 1f. His car was one of the factory cars from the 1964 12 hour. His co driver for this race was local hero Bob Tullius (founder of "Group 44"). Moffat's car dropped out after 7 hours but was very fast and ran in the top 5 most of the time. The race was in held August and it was very hot and muggy which may explain the bucket of water being dumped on a mechanic."
