In 2016, Victoria and David acquired a dog. (See last year's card.) The joy and fun of dog-ownership reminded Laurel and me (Mostly Laurel...) of how much we enjoyed our last dog, "Amber", who passed away in 2008. This past Spring, Antoinette persuaded Laurel (and me) to visit a local New Hampshire breeder of Golden Retrievers, who had a new litter to show. One of those pups picked me immediately, and came home with us 2 weeks later.
Rusty is now a 10-month, 64-pound puppy, who is enjoying his first snowfall, and first branch of his first Christmas Tree.
