"You can see the guys working in the formula 1 shop there… that’s Willie Cowell (he was a Scotsman) back there… I know him… he’s still around… that there, that little guy… and the guy standing in the forefront here, that’s Alan McCall… and he went on to be… Jimmy Clark’s Formula 1 mechanic. And again, this is an early picture, because these are Group 2 cars. And this picture looks like it is done… after… we used to work all-nighters… to get these cars ready…sometimes…and this looks like one of these heavy work periods…t o get these cars ready… because you can see all of the stuff on the floor and everything, and now everything’s messy."
